• Content Aggregators Love Your Blogs

Google made big changes to the ways their search results rank,   in the name of providing more relevant search results for it’s users, google engineers published blog post which indicated there were 11.8% organic search results will be affected, in plain English, google thinks about 12% of it’s search results are really bad and need to manipulated. Google started this change almost one year ago, and recently I see some of my ranks were lowered considerably, but almost all the ranks promoted by articles and blog posts were not affected, a few of these keywords ranked better than ever, it’s safe to say that old way of link building is doomed.

What is old way of link building any way? a lot of marketing companies did and are doing the plain link building, they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, these websites will only be updated when new links are being added, and most of them are useless, the name of link spamming sites is justified. The latest google update will definitely downgrade most if not all of these sites, all the links on those websites will have the same fate.

Let’s check out a few examples. In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I started promote the keyword, Coil Chains, of course with old way of link building, almost all the sites I got link from had too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. This strategy worked in the beginning, finally the rank improved a lot, this was the case until google made the change. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain puller , most back links for this keyword are from articles and posts, almost no plain links, you can imagine how this keyword ranks. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? In fact the only thing matters here is content, as long as you dole out high quality content, not only people will love to read your stuff, so do the search engines. It’s never too late to build good blogs for business purpose, for instance let’s examine this one, top smartphone , I build it as a hobby and kept adding good or mediocre content, and to my surprise, I have high ranks for some of  competitive keywords. As we can see, article marketing with great content is the way to go. Say you’re building your own bogging network, something like Machine Chain, then it will be easier to do article marketing.

Remember content is king, you just need to create content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Persistence and patience are the keys to success, you shouldn’t expect things to improve overnight, i.e., selling online or improve your search rankings, keep doing what we have to do till the end of world. Ezine is one of the best article directories out there, google will index a new article on ezine promptly, of course your posts on some blogs will be indexed real fast as well, here I am going to show you an article in article directory or on a blog, Sash Chains, explains some interesting concepts, quality content, nice presentation, indexed by google, this article is a good example of article marketing.

Last but not least, if you don’t take social media account, you’re lost. The Twitter tools is a wordpress plugin, you can install it, then go ahead register a new twitter account and app, set up API credentials in your twitter tools option, you should choose to post a tweet for every new post, it’s simple and elegant, no one should miss this tool out.

  • am I a terrible mother?

had a situation arise tonight with my 17 year old daughter. She is with a couple of her friends and when I called to see when she would be home, she got upset, saying she wanted to spend the entire weekend with them and come back home Sunday. I told her that she is not spending the entire weekend with them. Of course that led to a big blow up over the phone, and she hung up. I called back and a woman who claims to be one of the girls mothers (no I have never met her, because she doesnt want to met anyone ) I dont like my daughter being around people that I dont know, and have a issue with it. Well when the woman answered I told her I wanted to talk to my daughter, she refused told me I needed to learn how to calm down, calm down I said??? really?? I told her this is MY daughter and you will not refuse me to speak to her….well after a argument with her she finally told my daughter to talk to me. I told my daughter that I am coming to get her and need the address where she is, she had to put the other mother back on, the mom got mad at me for wanting her address and phone number, of course I insisted that I have the phone number, and yes I looked it up and it is hers. My daughter and I got into another argument, so I hung up, after about a 30 min cool down, I called back, my daughter wouldn’t answer the cell phone. So I called the mothers phone, and she hung up on me…which made me furious!! called back, she let me speak to my daughter, my daughter has me portrayed as a terrible mother, thing is, I care and this other mother could care less…am I that bad and terrible ???
No I did not not threaten my daughter in any way at all, only asked that she be honest with me at all times where she is . Not feeling guilty in any way, I have my nerves rattled really bad right now and dont want my daughter hurt by people trying to step in

No, you’re not a bad mother!

You called to see what time she would be home because the two of you did not make earlier plans that she would not be home, so yeah, I can understand the phone call… when she asked if she could stay the weekend and your answer was, No, you were within your rights as her mother to refuse her.

Yes it is also understandable that she would not happy with your refusal, but to blow up at you over the phone, she was out of line. From that point forward, as far as I’m concerned, she would have lost her privileges for the evening and I would have insisted she come home immediately and I would have insisted, like you, for the directions and phone number. After the first time the mother of her friend countered my request to speak with my daughter I would have given her a choice, either put my daughter on the telephone or talk to the police. Drastic? Sure is… but when it comes to my daughter, it’s just a bad idea to butt in.

But it makes me wonder if that mother allows her daughters to roam without some restrictions.

The woman should have never ever stepped in between you and your daughter. She should have immediately respected your requests that your daughter not stay the evening or the weekend. She should have respected your wishes to speak with your daughter.

Now, I would probably refuse to allow my daughter to associate with those people. But that will also lead to problems. But for now, I would calm down enough to have a discussion with your daughter when she comes home.

She needs to understand there are rules she needs to abide by and one of those is you must know where she is and who she associates with… explain that it is not because you do not trust her it is because in this day and age ANYTHING can happen not just to her, but to you or any of her siblings if she has any, her father, grandparents etc etc etc and you need to know where to find her should you need her.

Teens crave to feel independent and they need to feel trusted, at the same you need to be shown respect and you need to be able to trust her. Trust is earned and when broken it is far more difficult to get back.

Discuss compromise and communication… without which, nothing will be resolved and you both will be at each other’s throats and that’s just not cool for either of you. If she does this for you, then prepared to make a deal for her and keep it. She’s going to need you to give her more and more freedom away from you and home… and in return for that she needs to respect your requests.

You’re not a bad mother and she is not a bad daughter. The fact you reached out to others tells me you care enough to get other opinions and are willing to work with your daughter.

    Good luck!

  • I have an android phone 4G when i recieve messages i want the screen to light up but it doesn’t ?

I want the screen to light up when I recieve messages..but I don’t seem to find any settings for this.

The stock messages app may not do that. Download a great replacement, like ChompSMS or GoSMS and use that, they are awesome and the screen will light up when you get a message.

  • Which 4G Smartphone To Get (VERIZON WIRELESS PLAN)?

Hey so I am due for a upgrade on cell phone (VERIZON ONLY) and please tell me which phone you think is the better one. Please provide your imput if you have owned some or all of these models. Tell me the positives you’ve experienced and the annoying negative you experienced. For example, I currently own a Samsung Rouge and I really dislike that fact that it makes calls itself and browse randomly (due to touchscreen activating itself). So I narrow it down to like 4 choices. Please rank them based on which you will get. So my choices are either Droid Razr, Droid Bionic, Samsung Stratosphere (I’m really drawn to the physical QWERTY keyboard, I am semi QWERTY dependent) and the IPhone 4s. From all these models, it seems like the iphone looks pretty unattractive. I never own an Iphone but willing to try but I want to ask why it is so popular and what sets it aside to be so crazed over compared to Droid? If you own one, please tell me what you like so much about it so I can make a good decision. Thanks in advance.

i have owned my 4s for a week. its awesome. when you type, it gets a qwerty on the touch screen.

it has a nice lock button to prevent it working by itself.

it is really quick to do things. it has news and weather before i crawl out of bed!

you just speak to it, say "wake me up at 7:30" and the alarm goes off.

it does everything you could ask a phone to do.

    and angry birds are fun.

  • Can Sprint’s Unlimited iPhone Data Plan Beat Competitors?

0 Can Sprints Unlimited iPhone Data Plan Beat Competitors?BY ADAM FALK
    ANCHOR LAUREN GORES

Sprint, the now network, is now one of three iPhone networks. But when placed against mobile juggernauts AT&T and Verizon, how will the number three try to top the charts?

Answer: offer an unlimited data plan because AT&T and Big Red don’t. PC Magazine breaks down the costs and says, not all data plans are created equal. (Apple)

“For $109.99 per month, you are getting unlimited data from Sprint. That means you can download music and watch streaming video to your heart’s content without worrying about facing an additional charge. Try doing that with your 2GB on AT&T or Verizon, however, and you’ll be looking at some hefty data overage fees.”

LAPTOP Magazine echos those thoughts adding…

“Bottom line: Getting the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S on Sprint can save you serious cash, especially if you plan on using more than 2GB per month.”

A writer for GigaOm says, hold on, there’s a catch.

“[T]hanks to having less coverage in some areas it means that the iPhone experience on Sprint might be slightly worse than the iPhone experience on Verizon and actually a lot slower than the experience for folks using AT&T’s upgraded HSPA+ network.”

Many tech analysts say it boils down to: Verizon’s network quality vs. AT&T’s speed vs. Sprint’s unlimited plan. So, who wins? A wireless strategist tells Bloomberg users have the need for speed.

“The big winner on this phone is AT&T because the data speeds are now twice as fast. … This is a medium-sized win for Sprint.”

But a blogger for PhoneDog says, remember, both AT&T and Verizon had unlimited data plans when first released the iPhone to their customers, and Sprint will likely repeat history.

“My guess is that Sprint’s endeavors to keep unlimited data alive are futile. As they grow in subscribers and data-mongers, their network will begin to take more of a beating. Just as a precautionary measure, if you’re going to get a Sprint iPhone, snag one soon, before unlimited data disappears forever.”

Sprint, of course, has no reported plans on ditching the offer, but is betting a lot on the iGadget. Sprint’s CEO told the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, the carrier agreed to purchase 30.5 million iPhones over the next four years – around a $20 billion value. For users, unlimited data plans start at $69.99.
